Tippler's Delight



This is a fabulously straightforward cocktail to make, but has subtle depth and exquisite balance.

It uses an uncommon ingredient to most of us, plum brandy. The nuance of absinthe, the sweet uniqueness of the St. Germain, and the freshness of the lemon intermingle to lend an air of sophistication that you’ll crave.

Tippler's Delight Cocktail Ingredients
  • 1 oz. Slivovitz brandy (8-year Old Plum Brandy)
  • ¾ oz. St. Germain Elderflower Liqueur
  • 2 dashes Pernod Absinthe - (Vieux Pontarlier)
  • 1 oz Fresh Hand-Squeezed Lemon Juice


Chill a traditional martini glass preferably 4.5 oz in size. Place all ingredients in a Boston Shaker, add ice. Shake gingerly to chill. Using a Winchester strainer, strain into your chilled martini glass and serve.
Needs no garnish.
